Ethan Shaw
Ethan is the owner and artistic director of Curly Hair Austin. He trained with some of the original curl specialists in the industry and continues to spread his passion for curly hair in his third decade in his field. He has a wife and a daughter with beautiful curly hair and two great sons.
Charley Adams
Charley started working with curly hair as a child, working on his mother’s curly hair and learning in his aunt and uncles’ salon. He started doing hair professionally several years ago, and quickly was drawn to curly hair. He has type 4 (very curly) hair, and is our resident specialist in that texture and men’s cuts (but works with all curly hair). Charley loves fashion and is great with both trendy and classic curly styles.
Sherry Toomey
Sherry has over 20 years experience as a hairdresser. A Chicago native, she moved to the Austin in the 2010’s. She now focuses her vast experience and knowledge exclusively on curly hair. Sherry prides herself on her client consultations, listening and guiding them to a beautiful, happy relationship with their hair.
